Biography 

I am 27 years old and I am a PhD hydrology student at UKZN. I am currently working as a Hydrologist at SRK consultancy. In my PhD, I am currently looking at the water productivity of taro and sweet potato varieties in South Africa. My focus in my PhD is multidisciplinary with focus towards Hydrology, Agronomy, Agrometeorology and soil science. I have achieved several merit awards in my undergrad Hydrology modules and have been awarded the Albert Modi Umbuntu award for the best multidisciplinary/transdisciplinary research project in my Masters.

Qualifications

BSc LES stream (majoring in Hydrology and Soil science), BSc Honours (Hydrology) and MSc (Hydrology) and PhD candidate (Hydrology)
